Rachel and Jasper's Deer Creek Stables Wedding

Rachel and Jasper don’t do anything by the book, and I love that about them.

In lieu of rings they each have a tattoo of the other’s favorite flower or plant on their hand, and in lieu of a big wedding they had a private ceremony just the two of them in the mountains of Colorado while on a backpacking trip.

This celebration with friends and family at the Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms was a day of coming together for dinner, dancing, and toasts. They served delicious food from Three Tomatoes catering, and danced under the stars to the music of The High Road Home. A summer thunderstorm rolled in during toasts, giving a spectacular stormy sunset, and finally let loose in a downpour, moving inside for a dance party in the stables.
