How would you describe your venue’s style?
With FREIGHT, you get the charm & texture of a barn wedding venue with the vitality of a saved historic landmark. To get married in a venue with such a powerful metaphor like a depot can only bring strength to your union. Leadville is made for the adventurous, and we love to incorporate the beauty of our surroundings into our couples’ stories as well. Our staff is compassionate and truly believes that each wedding is its own story that we are here to support fully. 

Where did you grow up? How long have you been in Colorado?
Personally, I grew up in California, but moved to Colorado for college and have been here ever since. The mountains captured me about 12 years ago when I became a teacher and found the perfect combination of community and excitement that only a mountain town can provide. 

Sweet or Salty?
Sweet, always. Being in the wedding industry has made me a cake connoisseur. 

Favorite genre to read?
Depends on the season of life. My bookshelf is stacked with nonfiction, but I’m a sucker for a good beach read. 

Favorite movie?
Crazy, Stupid, Love. 

Favorite TV show at the moment?
My three favorites are Schitt’s Creek, Ted Lasso, and The Good Place

Favorite kind of music/ favorite artist?
Greensky Bluegrass is my most favorite band. I seen them every time they play at Red Rocks. 

What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not working?
I love to cross country ski, hike, and camp with my puppy, Cooper.
