Choosing me as your Wedding Officiant/Life-Cycle Celebrant means that you will feel seen and celebrated. Creating ceremonies that reflect who you both are as individuals and as a couple is what drives me. As one mother of a newlywed commented, “Bonnie, I am still in a dream state. I cannot tell you how many friends and family came up to me and said, ‘That was the best wedding ceremony we have ever attended! You were so professional and warm … people said they loved your voice! Best of all, I have never heard so much laughter at a wedding. Again, more magic. Thank you for all you did to make the ceremony so special and unforgettable.”

I answered the calling to be a Life-Cycle Celebrant after many years of serving my community. I taught 1st through 3rd year Montessori students for 12 years after falling in love with the Montessori philosophy when looking for a school for my boys. I supported families as a birth doula for 15 years. Facilitating each birth was tender and touching every time. I worked as a massage therapist for 20 years as well. Helping people see themselves as healthy and whole was a wonderful way to connect with my clients. All of these professions invited me to hold space for people during precious times. These professions laid a wonderful foundation for my work as a Celebrant.

I delight in discovering each new couple’s vision for their wedding and helping to manifest that vision. Working in the LGBTQ+ community is essential to my work as an Officiant. I believe we are here to love ourselves and each other in our deepest, purest form. Love is love. It is everything and there is nothing more fulfilling to me than facilitating joy in every expression of love imaginable.
