Hi, I’m Kim! I am the owner and photographer at Wild and Found Photography. I specialize in elopements, proposals, microweddings, and other couples photography, mostly in the beautiful outdoor spaces we have here in Colorado.
One of the main reasons I started Wild and Found is because I want to empower couples to celebrate the biggest moments in their relationship (and their life!) in a way that reflects their true selves. I strongly believe you should be who you are, even on your wedding day!
My mission is to create a safe space for couples, free from the expectations of others, and full of intentional, meaningful, and joyful moments. Where you can feel connected to your partner and loved ones that are with you.
In short, my hope is to help you create the epic day your love story deserves!
Fun Facts
How would you describe your photography style?
My photography style focuses on trying to get couples to be themselves! I always say that while most people think the key to good photos is whether you’re comfortable in front of the camera, the real secret is whether you’re comfortable with each other. So that’s really at the heart of what I’m trying to do when working with couples.
My editing style is true to life, and I always try to push myself creatively within each session in some way to provide something unique to each and every client.
Where did you grow up? How long have you been in Colorado?
I grew up in South Louisiana—and definitely miss the food! After a 7 year detour in Dallas, TX, I moved to Colorado in 2019 to pursue my outdoor hobbies like hiking and climbing.
Sweet or Salty?
That is truly an impossible choice for me!
Favorite genre to read?
Oooh boy…another tough one. Business and self help are on one side, and on the other hand I love fiction, particularly fantasy/dystopian era books and also Victorian romance type stuff like Pride and Prejudice.
Favorite movie?
I’m not too much of a movie person these days, and I prefer TV shows. But probably either Lord of the Rings or Pride and Prejudice.
Favorite TV show at the moment?
Ted Lasso has absolutely stolen my heart!
Favorite kind of music/ favorite artist?
I like most genres, but Pop music usually wins out. Lady Gaga and Marina are two of my favorites.
What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not working?
Hiking, yoga, climbing, and meditation are my biggest hobbies outside of my photography work. Although I would never turn down a chill evening on the couch with my pups and a glass of wine.
