I’m Kate {she/her}; a dog obsessed, coffee shop lurking, out and proud nerd and bisexual wedding photographer. I love using my British dry sense of humor to diffuse awkwardness in front of the camera, and make sure everyone is having a blast. As one of my couples wonderfully phrased it, I’m “artsy without being inaccessible.” You know when things look good, and I do too.

I’m here for the weirdos, wanderers, and folx who make the world a more interesting place.

After years of feeling and being told that Bisexual “wasn’t gay enough” to be included in gay spaces, but also not being “straight enough” for straight folks, I know how important representation and inclusion is for the LGBTQIA+ community to stay strong. It doesn’t matter to me if your relationship looks queer, or doesn’t, it’s still valid, beautiful, and deserves to be celebrated. Let’s celebrate it together!!

Fun Facts

How would you describe your photography style?
I focus on capturing your love authentically no matter what that looks like. Candid moments, emotion, and creativity are all a big part of my style. But, most importantly I want you to have the best day ever!

Where did you grow up?
I grew up mostly in Colorado, down in the Centennial area. But, I moved here from the UK when I was 5. All of my extended family still lives across the pond, and I’m so glad we have excuses to go back and visit frequently!

Sweet or Salty?
SWEET. I have a problem. I’m fully obsessed with all things dessert, chocolatey, caramely, or both. One of the things I loved most when I first started interning at a wedding photography company was the free cake and cupcakes at weddings ;)

Favorite kind of music/ favorite artist?
All things electronica. I love some psychedelic trance vibes to groove to in the car!

What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not working?
All things crafty! Depending on my mood, I’ll watercolor, practice calligraphy, sculpt random tiny things out of polymer clay, or color. My husband and I are also big gamers and have been doing tons of virtual game nights during the pandemic and play games together a lot as well.
