Welcome! I’m Josie V (she/her), an editorial wedding & portrait photographer based out of Colorado, and the southwest. I’m an outspoken lesbian, failing vegan, and passionate Enneagram 4. A North Carolina native turned Colorado girl; I’m on a journey to become a more mindful, more giving, and more authentic person creating a wholehearted life. I crave experiences where I can be fully present (see my live music love); photography gives that gift to everyone involved in a shoot.
Planning a wedding or elopement takes a lot of commitment, self-knowledge, and courage: I’m here to not only be your photographer but your champion, every step of the way. I’ll give you direction and clarity, so you can be yourself, stay in the moment, and remain carefree.
As a part of the gay community myself, I am committed to creating a safe and magical space for everyone and understand how precious the right to marry is.

Honest, Bold and authentic! I direct some images, and have a photojournalistic style for others.
Where did you grow up? How long have you been in Colorado?
I grew up in North Carolina, but moved out to Colorado as soon as I could in 2012!

I love to hike with our puppies, go skiing, travel, paint, and chill on the couch.
