Hi, I’m Jennie!
I photograph connected weddings for queer and in love couples.
I believe that there is beauty in being yourself — even if it makes other people uncomfortable. I believe the best wedding days celebrate your unique connection with quiet touches, intimate smiles, and heartfelt laughter.
I believe that weddings should be celebrated with the people who mean the most to you, and not a person more.
I think that life is better if you know how to rock a pair of purple pants, that cinnamon rolls can be eaten any time of day, and that you should always fall asleep holding hands. I believe the best days are an afternoon in the mountains with my wife and an evening cuddling at home on the couch.
As part of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I am passionate about creating a space where you can feel seen, accepted, and celebrated on your wedding day.
Fun Facts
How would you describe your photography style?
I am all about connection and intimacy between people and I love authentic, candid moments. I’m not afraid to be IN the moment with you. If I’ve done my job well, if will be able to look back on your wedding photos and feel the moments of your day.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Virginia in the Blue Ridge Mountains! But Colorado felt like home the first time I visited–I am definitely a mountain girl.
Sweet or Salty?
Definitely sweet. Give me all the ice cream and cheesecakes :)
Favorite genre to read?
Historical Fiction. Phillipa Gregory is my favorite! But I’m equally a Harry Potter fan. I re-read my favorite books because I believe a good story never gets old.
On the flip side, I’ve also gotten really into reading queer fiction lately!
Favorite TV show at the moment?
Hands down Heartstopper! But I’m also a fan of Outlander, The Great British Baking Show, Schitt’s Creek.
Favorite kind of music/ favorite artist?
I’ve always loved powerful, talented female vocalists. I’m in a P!nk phase right now.
What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not working?
I have 3 kids, so I don’t have a ton of free time, but I do try to go for daily walks with a good podcast or book.
